It looks pretty sad now. Lots of the " spikes/leaves...idk what they are called" are falling off and are brown. We do have green parts tho. We have dyna-gro ferts from last year. I just mixed up a new batch and watered and misted it. Any advice ? Help please.

Ugh. It keeps telling me that my pics are too big. I'm doing this from my cell. Not sure how to resize

Open it with paint, on the upper left hit resize. DoneDRento wrote: Here are some pics

What I see on your avatar is a juniper that has been very dead for quite some time already.

Just remember, Junipers need watering in winter. not as much as summer of course, but they still do! NEVER let a tree go bone dry!. It is sad because you did the right thing bringing the juniper to an unheated garage to keep the roots from freezing. Keep in mind though next time, junipers can survive 40 farenheit no problem, so maybe you took it in too soon? it wasn't dormant yet, and needed more sunlight?.
Anyway, cause of death from your description was probably lack of water. Worry about temps when they reach the teens. Anything over 40 can wake up your tree which is not good on winter, and your shed might have gotten too warm. 50 is quite warm for some Junipers too. Where I live temperature was on the 50s - 60s last week, 40s-50s two weeks ago, 30s 40s at night. And all my Junipers were growing new shoots...
