So after I restructure the top and see what leaves are coming back or not. For branch removel etc. Could The rock to right be tied to roots and repotted for couple years to accentuate what it has already? Would u do that?

Because there is no reason for doing that, and it won't look good, unless you leave it in the ground for a decade for it to grow roots that merge with the rock. But then you are better of taking a cutting and training that as a root over rock.

OK. A few things . the dawn redwood Forrest is awesome . I will work on ramafacation over the years.not too many out there....also.. Have a proper room with vents .etc to not keep the room below 20°andbabove 40°f for roots and dormancy.! Taking this serious . green room too come. This room is for my juniper Nana's Chinese elms , Shimpakus ligustrum and dawn redwood and bald cypress maple seeds germanating. Question is. Since dawn redwood is not as hahardy conytaversley as the bald cypress but similar could you graft the D.R.too a B.C. to cold hardy it to drop from zone 5too4????? Hahajahahja
