I love air layering.
This is my second succesfull this year.
It is only grape vine but I wanted to have one, although it will probably not make a good bonsai.
But I like the look of it anyway.

Even if it might not become a 每日吃瓜, thanks for sharing this plant.
I'm wondering how good the leaf reduction is on grape vines. Maybe I should get one to find out...

Me too and I hope to find out next year if it survives winter.
This one is gonna be for experimenting, and next spring I will airlayer another a bit bigger one.

Looks good, and they grow fast, maybe I'll try one. Always had a soft spot for grape vines.

I like your creations a lot... but I really don't like Vines for bonsai. I've never seen one that isreally good. They don't look like bonsai but like... small vines.

That is why I wanna try to make one, I love challenges.Auk wrote: I've never seen one that isreally good
Of course It won?t be this one. But I have got few big plants in the back yard so maybe I will find some branches that could be turned into bonsai in few years

Or maybe it will be just a big vine with huge leaves in a pot - but I don?t mind and it still might look nice - I don?t aim for noelander?s trophy with my plants and I like to have something different too :silly:
