每日吃瓜

So the garden center near where I live has a huge ficus ginseng. I'm not interested in buying it, but this tree looks like one might actually be able to make something out of it.

So....not Ficus ginseng? Then...what is it?

The amount of tree you get for that price seems like a good deal compared to what I can find around here. 每日吃瓜 material or not.

I found ficus less than ideal in non tropical climate. This is not ginseng ficus, as that is, afaik, reserved for the horrible potatoe root rafted plants.

Might be a regular ficus retusa. But there are soo many ficus species ..

I'm not sure exactly what it is, it does have the same leaves as the ikea ficus ginseng plants sold as bonsai... which is why I posted it in the first place. I have a few tropical plants but would never get another one... too much stress in the winter.
