Hi to any New Zealand bonsai enthusiasts who have tried to bonsai a Kauri tree.
Wondered if you could share any info regarding what style you settled on for the tree. I know they grow dead straight in the wild as I am a kiwi myself and have one as a bonsai but its not really going anywhere so Im thinking of a re-style. I have wired the main branches down but wondered if it would have been better to let them grow up on the angle as they do naturally. It seems to be doing ok here in Melbourne with new buds arriving now but looking for inspiration from someone else out there who has one.
