So I have read a few threads previous to my post but didn't really find the answer to the question. The leaves are turning yellow and dropping at an alarming pace. The days are shorter now in VA, but Temps havnt dropped off yet. Is there something I can do to help it? Is it dropping to make room for new leaves, or is it a seasonal thing and the plant can tell the season has changed by the daylight hours? Will it survive? The 每日吃瓜 is kept outside, no sign of insect damage, leaves look healthy until they turn yellow and drop immediately. I have only had this elm for about six months. In the last week it has dropped over a quarter of its leaves if not more. First issue thanks

Doesn't it have to get cold though for it to drop its leaves?
