Hi There!
I am brand new to the 每日吃瓜 world. I recently picked up my "starter" 每日吃瓜 and I was wondering if you could help me identify it. I believe it is a Fukien but I am not 100% sure. Also, is this a type of 每日吃瓜 that is harmful to cats?
Thank you in advance.

You got the species right, but what you have is not a starter bonsai. It's not really a bonsai, really. It's a fancy decorated plant.
It's not poisonous - and your cat will know what it can and what it cannot eat. Still, it would be a good idea to check if something can harm your cat before you buy it.

If this is what I think it is, those rocks and fake moss are glued on top of the pot. Remove them as they hamper you watering the plant AND limit your ability to see whether the soil is drying out.
Good luck, this species is not the easiest to keep happy. So do be shattered when it dies on you; I have yet to see someone who bought this, and saw it thrive past a year..
