Hi all, I have a Japanese Holly which looks like its dying. Any help please? It sits outside and I've tried watering it better but still it seems that most of it is drying up.

Most of it isn't all that dry.
Keep it in part sun, keep it moist, but not soggy. Don't fertilize for a few weeks. It aught to come back to life.
To me it doesn't look like it's been this pot long. Some one left the wires on it to long, re potted it and sold sold it.
It will a good tree to care for.

Hi thankyou. I bought the plant from a store back in October. It was super healthy and was also almost flowering in the beginning of May until it suddenly showed signs of decline around a month or so.
Two things ive done wrong for sure are:
I kept it inside the whole time only to discover around 3 weeks ago that it should be outside and its moved to a new location.
If it is the case that its been recently repotted I may have over fertilised as I kept giving it fertiliser every 2 weeks.
Also trying to get the watering right.
Parts of the trunk are green. Should I leave it be and just try n water it correctly from now on? Hopefully it recovers

When using commercial fertilizer, always follow the directions on the package.

Stop the fertiliser, it is doing more harm that good, especially if it is not organic. Wait until and if it starts growing again.Get the watering correct first, water when almost dry. You can remove any dead leaves but that is all.
