I have a San Josai bonsai that I repotted 2 months ago. i was using a nitrogen free firtalizer for a month and a half. I am now using a regular bonsai fertilizer. Fertalization was per directions and once a week. Now, the small branches and needles closest to the trunk are turning yellow. I live in west Michigan. Please help.

If it is only these inner parts of the branches, you are fine. Junipers are evergreen but that does not mean the foliage lasts forever: THis is shedding of old needles
