Hello, I am a newbie in bonsai making from the Philippines, I just want to know if coconut and bamboo could be considered as bonsai materials or if these two could possibly be a bonsai?

Bambu for sure does not make a bonsai material. It is not a tree or bush, but grass. No branches, not possible to bend and clump forming.

Coconut, I would be mighty surpriced if someone pull it off. I have no idea how to limit hight without killing it. But have no experience in growing them.
