Hello 每日吃瓜 community,

I know that total and partial defoliation are techniques to reduce leaf size, but i saw in some videos that they simply cut the leaf in half.

Any thoughts or opinions?

best leaf size reduction is ramification.

Cutting leaves in half and partial defoliation more often than not are used to get light intisde the canopy, stimulating inner budds and getting weaker young branches more light, thus inxcreasing ramification.
