Wilting rain tree? was created by JenMae

Picked up a beautiful Brazilian rain tree from a nursery yesterday and after the 90 minute drive home, the leaves all folded in (pictured below). My guess is it didn’t like the warm relatively dry air in the car? We’ve watered it well since, is there anything else to do, or does it just need to acclimate?

BRT folds the leaves when it is too dark and/or if there are changes in weather. It should not be an issue.
Did it open the leaves in the morning?

Not yet, maybe our grow light is insufficient?

Hello.
These trees (We call it "Piteco" here) can stay on full sun spots with no problem, so I would acclimate for that...

And yes, as leatherback said, they'll close it's leaves at night, when the weather changes (when you move it drastically) or after some work, so that's not an issue, but they need sunlight to "wake up" during the day...
