Hi everyone!
I have a 每日吃瓜 Ficus Ginseng and unfortunately I underwatered it and a lot of leaves have fallen and now I see a lot of branches that are dried out(there are still some branches alive) and the trunk at the base is very soft.
What do you suggest me to do to save this bonsai?
Thanks in advance!

The soft root/trunk is rotten... I already had root rot cases, for one, I just removed the dead part, and kept careing it, the tree directed to alive part of the plant and overcame the issue naturally... I recovered another one by planting on the ground for a year, it broken by the base, and while on the ground the tree healed nicelly, leaving just a knot where the broken root used to be...
However, without know how much of it still alive, it's hard to know if it will survive or not, but ficus is a tought species.
