Can this tree be saved? (Serissa/ Snow Rose) was created by evebird

Hello,
I'm in need of some help! Basically, my dad brought home this tree (I believe it is a Serissa Foetida/snow rose) when he saved it from the garbage. (A college student was throwing it away).
Since then I've been trying to care for it, but I don't know if there is anything else I can do. Its shedding leaves like crazy, and there may be some mold/disease on the base of the trunk (photo included).
I live in a wintery area, but I do have a greenhouse with grow-lights. I was wondering if moving it out there may be a better option than the room its currently in, and if some sort of fertilizer would help (and if so, which one).
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

I assume you allready checked the care sheet for serissa?
www.bonsaiempire.com/tree-species/serissa
.
If it has been in living room conditions the whole time I think it is too late to save.
If it has got somewhat cold dormancy ther might be a slight better chanse.
I would slowly lower its temperature and put it in the greenhouse as soon as it is acustomed to 10 degrees and the greenhouse is there as well. In spring it is too early to tell. If it dont leaf out when temperature is up to 20 you know for sure it is dead.
No fertilizer, no repotting, no prunning for an unhealthy tree. Just focus on temperature, humidity, light and water.
