hi, I transplanted a few cedar seedlings from the woods, my guess is some from this year, some a year old.

I want to create bonsai trees out of them, just wondering if there's anything I should be doing now, or throughout the year.

my plan currently is to just leave them for a few months so they grow and settle in.

Just focus on plant health. Any bonsai tecniqes can wait a few years.
