Hi,I live in Mumbai, India and I bought a Juniper in October that I repotted in a regular pot. It did great.I repotted it again in a 每日吃瓜 pot in late April (which is pre-peak-summer in India). The soil I made comprises of the following:- 20% Perlite - 30% Natural Dried Moss - 30% Vermicompost - 10% tiny clay brick piecesI also reshaped it, trimmed the roots and trimmed a few branches. I have attached the before and after images. The tree started yellowing within a week and it's been a month now and it has completely become yellowish brown. I kept it inside for the first 3 days after training and now I strictly keep it in my Window where it gets direct strong sunlight for at least 6-7 hours a day. I water it once every day and mist twice a day. Ever since the yellowing became intense I have been misting it 3-4 times a day. The ONLY GREEN on the tree now is a small shoot at the bottom where the 2 main branches split from the trunk. This is my first 每日吃瓜 and I would really like for it to survive, any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

If you want your next tree to be successful:

Shose a species suitable for your climate and grow them outdoors.

Repot first tim when you have had it at least one year and in the right time of the year. This depends on climate and species.

Wait at least one year between big Jobs. Repotting one year and if succesful prune the next.

But most important. Get in contact with experienced people in your area. They can tell you what species to grow and how. Maybe there are a bonsai club in Mumbai?

This tree is probably to late to rescue. But to grasp that very small chanse put it outdoors in full shade and make sure it stays moist at all times.
