Hi, i'm Liz and i'm brand new to this bonsai thing.
I took possession of this tree yesterday, i think (think) it's a sweet plum but i know it needs help!

Get it outside. Prune all the dead bits off water when it is just dry and hope it survives. Do not re pot. Do not put fertiliser on.

I am not sure, try looking in the species guide at the top under indoor trees.

I think chinese sweet plum is correct. I keep mine outdoors all summer, protected from frost at 5 degrees in winter.
