Is it good to move an indoor bonsai to have few hours of direct light? was created by Lozano

Hi!

I have a Ficus bonsai placed very close to a window in a the most luminous room of the house (facing South). Still it doesn't get direct light, so I would like to ask if it is enough?

In addition, I live in Austria, which means that there are a lot of cloudy days. For those super sunny days (like today) would it be beneficial for the tree to be moved to the floor under the window searching for those 3 o 4 hours of straight light? Or is it better to not change the position.

Thank a lot in advance.
Best,
Javier

If the tree is moved sudden and the sun is a lot stronger there are a risk of burning the leafs. Better wait until temperatures is safe above 10c and move it gradually into full sun over a few weeks. Once outdoors leave it there until temperatures drop in authum.

It would be great for the tree to get some direct sun every few days. I would move it to the sun.
Behind glass the risk of sunburn is very low.
