I got this ficus bonsai around Christmas and since then it has lost a total of 8 leaves, but a ton of new leaves have been growing in.
Is this reacclimation? I need to know if I'm killing him!

The tree has lost 8 leaves and, but a ton of new leaves have been growing in, so why do you think you are killing it?

I think if you click on Tree species (above) or search for your tree as how it should be looked after so far as watering, temperature etc is concerned.

Also evergreens shed their leafs naturally. Just not all at once. Ficus seems to shed a lot of them in winter if kept in living room conditions. They just don't need that many when sunlight is scarse.
