Hello everyone,

I bought this bonsai about a month ago and need some help. I was told it was a cherry bonsai but I'm not sure. Anyways, I have all this new growth and I'm not sure what to do with it. Also, you may notice that the red leaves are pretty shriveled. It had been in the sun when I got it and they haven't improved yet.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I cannot tell species. But If it is a cherry tree it needs to be grown outdoors. Indoors it will die.
