my daughter offer me one Sageretia with 7 year, in father day, 2 days ago.
I think that there is no soil, only roots. (see photos)
do you think that tree need repoting?
Should I ?!?!?
the trauma of moving to another envorinment isn?t enough?
I do not know what to do.
Spring here in Portugal started yesterday.

First of all this species is from subtropical areas just as yours. I would keep it outdoors all year if I was in your location.

I never recomend beginners to hurry to repotting the first tree. First learn how to keep it healthy, then turn to bonsai techniques for development. However, I think it makes sence in your case to get a slightly bigger pot, move it and fill some fresh soil around the root ball.
