Could you help me with the best bonsai for an east facing window.?
The window is in the bathroom and is normally a cool place but during a bath or shower it’s humid.?

There are no best trees for indoors. Just the least bad options. I would say ficus.

If you are serious about bonsai development, grow locally hardy trees outdoors. Then cultivation is not a problem and you can focus on development.

? ? I have a large “”s-shaped”?ficus. ?I have one side?facing?a sunny/bright?window, the other side facing the room. ?I notice there is much more growth on the side facing the window, while there is minimal (but still some)?some growth on the inward side facing the room.?

? ?Should I be turning it around giving equal exposure?to both sides?

If you are in the nortern hemisphere, now is summer and ficus should be outdoors.
