Hello, the photo shows conifer bonsai that grew from seeds and are two years old, and a smaller one, well, a year old, if I'm not mistaken. I'm curious about the color of the conifer leaves. Why are they yellow? These trees are on an east-facing windowsill.

Needles when older will die so it is normal, but it is not normal to be inside. That is not doing any good they need to be outside.

Thx!! Hmm... I have a balcony, but the problem is that it faces west, which gets more sun and higher temperatures. Can they be placed there despite the wind, sun, and temperature fluctuations? For example, it can sometimes get as low as 10°C at night and as high as 30°C during the day?

If that's what you have then it will have to do. Seedlings like this will take a long time to grow to any size, just keep them watered. You can remove the dead needles by pulling forward not against the buds.

,Okay, I understand. One more question: I have a Christmas tree on my balcony, and they're also yellow, but only at the tips. Is this sunburn or too much water?

That christmas tree has not pushed out any new growth this year. And now it is so weak that it is aborting last years growth as well. Ill bet 10 cent that it is a dead tree.

Well, it is not dead, but the environment is not good for it. I can't tell what might be wrong, but could be lack of water. I would prune the dead bits off, and possibly get fertiliser on it and see what happens. Unless it has been stood in water it has not been "overwatered"
