每日吃瓜 on the left turned one year old today.? Can anyone help me ID this tree, assess its health, and give a tip or two on next steps?

In this phase thickening, tapering and movement should be the focus.
Given the asumption that you want to grow your tree in the window going forward. Speeding up thickening is not an option. I think I would do a big low cut and grow out a new leader. The new leader is still flexible enough for wiering:
