I am just starting and got my first tree, a Chinese elm. Upon arrival I noticed yellowing leaves which I read may happen because of the shipping process (it was in a box for 2 days as far as I know). Ordered from a bonsai site. There's some moss growth in the pot as well a little up the tree, i cleared that away. I noticed some spots that im a little concerned about and wanted to get some opinions.??

There is nothing wrong with this plant, but if you have it inside there will be soon. You cannot keep Chinese Elm well inside for long. It is a hardy species and needs cold. Having said that it depends on where in the world you are as to when you can now put it outside. If you are getting frosts then the best thing you can do is put it in a cold room with as much light as possible south facing would be best. as soon as there is less danger of frost the put it outside. If you have a greenhouse or shed then you can transition using either.?
