Hello all,?
These are two leaves that I've cut from my bonsai. The smaller one is newly grown, as shown in the picture there are few brown spots. These spots are evident in other leaves around the bonsai.?
Is watering too much? On not enough? Does it need something specific??
I water it around every 15 days and spray the leaves one to two times a week.?

You need to be a bit more specific. What species is it? Watering every 15 days seems crazy, far too little and spraying the leaves is not good.

Thank you for your response,
It is a ficus bonsai, it is indoors, I check the soil every other day if it seems to start drying I water it but I do not over do it, if I'm honest I don't prefer to soak it in water until it seeps out the bottom and maybe could that be the issue?. Last week it had some white insect on it, I went to a bonsai shop they gave me a solution to spray and everything is good. Apart from that I have noticed as I said the brown in some leaves.?
I am very new to the bonsai world and trying to make it right. So if there is anything more I can do to help you understand please let me know.
Thank you,
Emma

It would be better to water until it comes out of the bottom, yes. This plant looks fine, small spots on a leaf is nothing to worry about. You might find better advice in a houseplant forum. If you fins an insect mix a very weak solution of washing up liquid opne drop in a litre and spray that much better than poison chemicals.

Spraying the leaves does very little to help the plant. It needs water all through the soil around all the roots and the only way to get that is water until it comes out the bottom.
Misting is useful for a very few house plants that absorb water through the leaves. It also raises the humidity around the plant for a few minutes.?

Seeping through is not the correct term to use when describing correct watering. Pouring out of the drainage holes is correct:
"When top soil apears dry. With a fine strainer water abundantly and evenly over the whole soil surfase until water is pouring out of the drainage holes"
