?
?I purchased a kokonoe JWP and have given it its first styling - i took about half the trunk off and have wired all the smaller branches. It arrived in a nursery pot and was potted in a peat compost. The soil was wet when it arrived and it hasn't dried out in 3 days. I've noticed a few needles starting to brown and am getting a little concerned as I ve read theses trees don't like to stay too wet. Has anyone got any info/advice on whether I should do anything?
Many thanks
Carlos?

So you bought a tree. Took it right home and started hackig it down like 60-70% right away and now you wonder what else to do??
Do nothing! Just wait and hope that your styling did not ruin the tree.?

From what I've read and watched, taking that much of the tree off will not harm it. I'm asking a specific question about the dampness of the soil. Im just trying to learn here, no need to be hostile?

I get that kind of coments from time to time. I am quite fed up with that. There are absolutely no hostile tone in that post. Just me trying to help. But you obviously do not want my help, I am out of here. Good luck with your tree.?

I had to look up misconstrued. I am not a native english speaker. But I think I know now. It is not "things get misconstrued". It is "I misconstrued the message, I am sorry". Right?

Tropfrog is right do nothing. It will dry out if you leave it, 3 days is not a lot depending on temperature and sunshine. Is it winter where you are? You do not say. The plant looks as it is has flowers which indicates being stressed and that is before you touched it. Re potting now could be the finish of it so I would say do not re pot. Let it dry out a bit more by putting out of any rain and don;t water either.

Hello,?
It's springtime here (I'm in the UK). I wasnt aware they were flowers, i thought they may have been the candles ive been reading about, it also had a pinecone attached when I got it. I'm completely new to this - I've never done any gardening before. I will leave it in its current pot as you both instruct, I've read that it shouldn't get direct sun for a while whilst it recovers too?
Cheers for your message?

In future, what is the best course of action with pre-bonsai material and nursery stock?
