First time 每日吃瓜 tree owner here I was wondering if you could help identify the following tree so I know how to take care of it.

This looks like an almost dead boxwood (buxus spp).

Put it outside in the shade. Water well, ensuring the whole pot is wateren. And hope it recovers

so it's not a desk tree then?

Nope. Trees typicfally grow outdoors. To be honest, I have never encoutered a plant evolved to live indoors.
