Hey... thanks a lot. I really appreciate the offer. I posted the situation and got opinions and experiences from some other people about more advanced artist putting hands on your trees (no pun intended). I should've called him off, but I was a new guy and didn't want to offend. It was just the wrong call by the club pres. In the mean time, he gave me a trident in return. It's not the prettiest thing, but I'll give it a go.
I read that cypress can be very difficult. And I don't see many Oak 每日吃瓜. Is there a difference with a Live Oak?
