Hi! Complete bonsai beginner here!

Went out this morning to get some plants from the wild to turn them into bonsai in the near future!

Caught this coniferous on the picture, two fig tree branches and on the center a baby fig tree with roots.
Just finished planting them on this pot. I'm guessing I sould give the coniferous a couple of days to settle before pruning some of the branches.
Any thoughs, tips or suggestions are more than welcome!

I'd say a couple of years, not days.

Plant each plant in a separate pot until they are big enough. Then plant them in your garden and let grow for several years. Meanwhile, start learning the basics. Search this forum for people with the same questions (and answers) as you have.

the juniper is quite big already, no? can't it be pruned?

I just noticed you wrote 'near future'. Sorry, but this will not be anything near to a bonsai in the 'near future'. Think decades.

so I should get thicker Junipers?
