Totally beginner, basic questions about bonsai was created by 山田太吕

Hello.
I am a complete beginner in this world, although I always admired bonsai.
Some days ago, I went to my aunt's backyard and decided to find a candidate tree, sprout or branch to start a bonsai. Actually, my very first bonsai.
So finally, I found a many-years-old pear tree that had a tiny pear tree on its base, just like a small son tree born from the root of the main tree. So I decided to get it and let it grow in a pot and convert it into a bonsai.
Now, I have some basic questions, and I would thank if someone could guide me with the next steps that I should take.

First, I tried my best to remove that tiny tree without breaking many roots, but in the end, part of the taproot broke. I believe that like 25% or 30% of the taproot broke, but still I managed to preserve a good number of smaller roots (these that are not the taproot, very thin).
Next on, following my aunt's advice (she knows about horticulture, not bonsai), I replanted in into a small plastic pot. I tried to extend a bit the smaller roots, although two or three of them are much longer than the diameter of the plastic pot, so I just followed the circumference of the pot to place these longer roots, around the pot, forming a circle (but I didn't "overlapped" the two or three roots).
The pot has holes in the bottom, and I place some gravel first, then some soil, then the tree, and finally covered all the roots almost up to the "trunk" with soil, pressing the soil a bit. Then, I watered it with enough water, but not to flood it. Finally, I finished covering up to the trunk itself with some more soil, but this time I didn't press this soil too much (the other soil I didn't press a lot, just enough to make it a bit more compact and hold the tree). I didn't watered this last layer of soil.

I live in a flat, so I don't have a backyard where the tree can be placed, so right now, it is outside the window.
Also, I read somewhere the house orientation (N,S,E or W) is an important factor. In my case, I am unlucky, and all the windows are heading to the north, so now, during winter, no direct sunlight at all. It has a lot of light, but not direct sunlight. And the building just in front reflects a lot of light (I don't know if this could help). I live in the northern part of Spain. Winter temperatures in my city during winter range from 10 to -5, in Celsius degrees, and ambient humidity outside is high.

So basically, now, what should I do next?

I basically want to create something like this:

With that I mean that I like bonsai with a twisted or out-of-the-vertical line. Of course, I know the one in the image is a different type of tree, so I don't expect to have that type of bark or leaves.

I just leave a photograph of the tree.

Thanks beforehand.

bring it back to your aunt. It really should be outside. Then allow it to live for a year before doing anything.

I will bring it back. And then, once there, what should I do, or how I should proceed during that year? How much should I water it? Should I place it in a place with direct sunlight or somewhere where there is light but not direct sunlight?

Any other recommendation? Also, I would like a small bonsai, less than 1 metre tall, if possible.

Thank you.
