Hello guys,
I'm newbie on bonsai.
I've recently bought a Ficus bonsai in a store and today I spot 2 redhead flies on the trunk.
In the last two days, I noticed that my bonsai start losing young leaves, and when I keep looking closer, I noticed two very small flies running around. They had redhead. Please look at the pictures and video -
I hope you will help me to identify and get rid of them.
Thank you so much,
Davide

Why do you care about the fruitflies?
I would be concerned with why the plant ia dropping leaves.
As for how ro get rid of fruitflies.. look for rotting fruit and toss it. Clean out your garbage.

Also clean the sink, or (beer) bottle's. etc.
Like leatherback said, the fruit fly's are not connected with any "illness" on your tree.
Maybe post some picture of the full tree, and tell us your waterring schedule, and what kind of light conditions the tree has. So you can find the real issue why tree is dropping leaves.
