Hi! I have had my bonsai since this past Christmas (so roughly seven months). As far as I know, I have a Japanese Juniper bonsai. Reading through some of these forums, I have learned that my tree should be outside, which I have recently started doing, but I bring it in at night. It seemed to do fine in winter/early spring inside under a UV light, but I am no expert. This is my first bonsai and I really want to do the best I can to keep it alive! I believe it is maybe two or three years old, and I was told to repot it in 2022. With that said, I am concerned I may be watering it too much and I have no clue where to start for pruning and shaping. I feel like it is probably time to start that, but I am lost and researching everything gets to be a bit overwhelming.
Attached are some pictures for reference.

Hey and welcome here.
THing is.. These plants are sold as bonsai but are in reality not much more than a young juniper. As such, there is no styling done to it. And if you want to develop this into a bonsai it is up to you to come to a styling..
I woudl recommend just putting it in a spot, and leaving it there.
