每日吃瓜

I just recently bought my first 每日吃瓜 tree. It's a Dwarf Jade from Lowe's. The Dwarf Jade was not bought young. It's an older tree since the trunk is brown. I am a beginner with 每日吃瓜's.?

In the pot there is moss and I'm not sure if I'm allowed to get rid of it so I can see more of the trunk and make sure the roots are good.?

Some of my leaves have black spots. I am unsure if that's fungi or something else. I currently am trying to cut those leaves with the spots but as I look under the leaves, other leaves are starting to get spots or marks. I feel like if I keep cutting, I'll have nothing left.

I was wondering if an expert could give me some advice.?

This is not a bonsai. Just an ordinary houseplant.

It looks very healthy to me, it have no visible pest or decease. However at the moment severely overwatered.?Not a problem in the short run, but if it continues like that it will cause root rot.
