Got a Juniper from bonsai boy. 23 years old, 11" x 21" x 14" tall. I thought it was a bit overgrown and based on the juniper bonsai that inspire me, i wanted to go much more condensed to put focus on the trunk. I probably went way overboard and im feeling regretful. Before and after photos are attached. Let me know your thoughts!

I like the initial styling. It is always hard to see on photos if there would be better options. But I think you did good.

One thing that needs to be brought up is thinning out. Junipers are strong growers that do not backbud very much. It is important to thin heavily every year to prevent the tree from growing too heavy and long branches and keep it compact. Under my conditions, I would do that now. But if you live in a less favorable climate you may need to let the tree recover from work done a year or so.
