Hey guys! I’ve reached a point where I’m not sure what step is next for my Portulacaria Afra bonsai.I’ve drawn a line on the photo where I’m considering making a cut. I feel like the tree is a bit "top-heavy" and I want to bring the balance back down.
I'm still learning, so any critiques or "virtual chops" are more than welcome!
- Does this look like a good spot to chop?
- If I leave it, how would you recommend I balance it out instead?

I would rather correct the funny angle than performing a big cut.
If a big cut is prefered, I would cut by the first Y, not the second.
But as always: it is your tree, any decitions made is to support your vision for the tree and you are the only one that has been looking on it in real life.
