I moved all my azaleas to konuma/lava rock/pumice last year, to get the better acidic blend they azaleas seem to like.

How long should I expect konuma to last before repotting? One year (like akadama)? Longer?

I save the old soil mix set up with akadama because it crumbles away and I can sift out all the akadama dust. That allows me to recycle the lava rock and pumice. Can I recycle konuma based soil?

I use pure Kanuma for my Satsuki, I tend to repot every two years which is recommended. The Kanuma is still ok after two years though I don't re use it
