In the centre there was an old branch/trunk that was rotting away. So I carefully scraped and cut it away leaving a little remaining as to not disturb any living tissue. I didn't like the idea of it touching the main trunk that's why I chose to remove now.

Here's the Privet. The several small trunks at the front look dead but we will see. May carve them into fingers and the Base can be the palm
